Inspection: Scheduling an HVAC inspection can help ensure your heater and air conditioner are performing as well as they can be. We inspect all connections, gas flow, combustion chamber and heat exchanger, ignition system, electrical wiring, blower blades, and furnace running. We will look for any warning signs of potential problems and test to see that your unit is working properly.
The Negative Pressure Method: Negative pressure is a method in which loose debris is vacuumed out of air ducts. It is a Big Vacuum Machine that gets connected to one of your vents. The other vents get cancelled to create a powerful suction and start Deep Cleaning (Duct Brushing). In cases where the ducts have not been cleaned regularly, or for a long period of time, the loose debris in the ducts mix with moisture and build up on the walls of the ducts. Mildew and bacteria start to build up and in such cases scrubbing the walls of the ducts with a motorized rotating brush is required.
Air Duct Cleaning: It is important to make sure your duct system is clean, sealed correctly, and insulated properly. Debris accumulates in the ducts when combined with moisture and can stick to the duct walls and become a breeding ground for mold, mildew, and other micro-organisms. Breathing dust and micro-organisms on a regular bases can compromise your health. Cleaning your ducts ensures that the air circulating into your home is healthy, safe, and free of pollutants.
Cold Air Return: The cold air return(s) in your home is an integral part of your ventilation system. The cold air return draws air from the home into the furnace. Unfortunately, it also draws in all the common debris present in homes such as carpet fiber, dust, pet hair etc.
Sanitization (Mold, mildew and odor removal): An application of air duct sanitizer is often recommended after deep cleaning. It de-oxidizes the buildup remnants, retards future growth of mold, mildew and bacteria and removes odors.
After the inspection is completed our technician will go over the report with you. If additional services and repairs are needed, we will advise you on the best and most cost-effective solution for your home.
